TV-PS THE VIRTUAL PIANO STUDIO

My lessons are taught from the UK ABRSM syllabus, and all lessons are personalised to the students’ needs and taste. Whether it’s practical or theory, I am available to teach both.

I am a strong believer in only putting students forward for an exam when I am confident, they will achieve a good pass or better and their experience will be a positive one.

Each lesson will comprise feedback with written notes and instructive piano video links via my YouTube channel, emailed to you after each lesson. Communication of expectations and challenges between teacher and parents will be encouraged. Parents are also welcomed to sit in on their child’s lessons.

I understand that no two learners are the same and treat all learners both young and old with respect. I believe that the most important element in learning an instrument is to enjoy the music you are learning and encourage all students to feel confident in making music. 

Above all, I want all students to recognise the joy in the music they are creating. 

COVID19 Update

Due to the current global situation, my studio is currently closed for lessons in person.

Online lessons are available on an ad-hoc basis or set time each week. Students are welcome to book and pay for sessions in advance with individual rates set at £14.50 for 30-minute lessons or £50 for 4 x 30-minute lessons.
